The same thing goes for people formerly known as customers. I think that in this digitally interactive world you have to get prospective customers participating and interacting with you to make them customers and evolve them into customer evangelist. There needs to be a method or a process for them to participate and effect the product and service.

There is no question that search gives us real-time information into customer intention. However, the question becomes can companies that can satisfy these intentions with products and services respond to the onslaught of efficient captured and forwarded intentions (leads). The answer today is no. Why do I say that? There is little connectivity between search (advertising and marketing) and sales. We are solving that problem with state-of-the-art lead management.

Koray does a nice piece on “Why Format?” His piece is very refreshing. It inspired me to speak briefly on the larger concept of blogging content. I am so tired of hearing excuses for sloppiness and laziness in blogging.

When you blog you are writing with the intent to communicate. Consequently, it is important to make that communication as clear and effective as possible. Therefore, since format, spelling, and grammar is how we interpret and understand the context of the written word it is flippant to discount these critical components. It doesn’t mean we won’t make errors or mistakes, but intentionally ignoring these items shows a lack of concern and regard for your customer, the reader, and their experience.

Probably one of the rare instances that I go with the liberal, but you never mess with the 1st Amendment. It is too precious of a gift from our forefathers!
