It inspired me to speak briefly on the larger concept of blogging content. I am so tired of hearing excuses for sloppiness and laziness in blogging.

When you blog you are writing with the intent to communicate. Consequently, it is important to make that communication as clear and effective as possible. Therefore, since format, spelling, and grammar is how we interpret and understand the context of the written word it is flippant to discount these critical components. It doesn’t mean we won’t make errors or mistakes, but intentionally ignoring these items shows a lack of concern and regard for your customer, the reader, and their experience.
